Getting Started

  1. Click on the ‘+ Add Ingredient’ button. A new row will be added to your table.
  2. Search for an ingredient and select the closest match.
  3. Add your quantity. Totals will start to calculate automatically.

All the data for your collection is stored in the URL. To save or share your collection, all you need to do is copy or bookmark the URL.

Data & Accuracy

The calculator uses publically available data from large supermarkets and suppliers in the UK. It can only be as accurate as they are.

Only a small set of available ingredients are shown here. If you can’t find an exact match, hopefully there will be a similar ingredient to use that can offer a helpful guide. If not, check your label and engage in some mental maths!
